About

About us

We are a small team of people working together from Touchstone and West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership. Our project aims to address and improve workforce diversity and inclusion in West Yorkshire's three Mental Health Trusts.

These Trusts are:

  • Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust
  • Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
  • South-West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

We aim to support people from all backgrounds into roles with our three Mental Health Trusts.

In addition to our job fairs, we also offer 1-to-1 support to people from groups that are under-represented in the NHS. This support aims to help people find suitable roles, write applications, and prepare for interviews. We also support people to share any adjustments they may need e.g. around any disabilities, mental health conditions or language needs they have.

We also work in partnership with the Trusts to review recruitment and retention processes to make them more accessible and inclusive. This involves addressing barriers and suggesting improvements in areas, such as application forms, interviews, digital inclusion, and reasonable adjustments. To achieve this, we draw from Touchstone’s experience in creating inclusive employment processes and feedback from previous and potential applicants.
